David Pere

David Pere is a Marine Corps veteran who served on active duty from 2008 to 2021, including a combat tour in Afghanistan, before transitioning to the Reserves for two years, and then completely out of the service, to focus full-time on helping service members and veterans build wealth. He began investing in real estate in 2015, house-hacking a duplex with an FHA loan, and went on to build a portfolio of more than 100 rental units — including a 10-unit apartment building purchased from overseas with less than 5% down — before leaving active duty, reaching financial freedom in 2021. He is now an investor in over 1,000 units, and the portfolio continues to grow! David is the founder of From Military to Millionaire (est. 2017), the largest military real estate investing community in the world and an approved DoD SkillBridge provider, host of the Military Millionaire podcast and YouTube channel, and author of The No B.S. Guide to Military Life: How to Build Wealth, Get Promoted, and Achieve Greatness.
